I offer expert workshops and classes in AI tuition for both academic staff and for professionals. I also offer the same for those seeing to improve their dissertation supervision skills, as well as staff and students looking to improve their thesis writing and academic skills

As a teacher and lecturer in research skills and ethical AI use in both the FE sector and in HE, I help students, academics, and institutions navigate the evolving academic landscape with confidence and clarity.
This hands-on workshop is designed especially for academic staff who want to understand AI, harness its potential, and safeguard against misuse. Participants will explore what AI is (and isn’t), how large language models “learn,” and common myths and misconceptions. Learn to use tools like ChatGPT for productivity and Elicit for literature discovery, evidence extraction, and concept creation, while understanding limitations and pitfalls. The workshop emphasizes responsible AI use, helping staff spot warning signs of misuse, maintain academic integrity, and implement practical solutions. Interactive exercises and real-world examples equip participants to confidently integrate AI in teaching, supervision, and research.
We also provide workshop to help students successfully navigate their dissertations or theses at Levels 8–10 by providing practical guidance and strategies for every stage of the process. Participants will learn how to manage literature reviews, research methods, findings and analysis, and writing strong introductions, conclusions, and recommendations. The session also covers avoiding plagiarism and responsible use of AI, using grading rubrics effectively, and preparing for a successful viva. Through interactive exercises and real-world examples, students gain the confidence, skills, and tools to complete their research projects efficiently and to a high standard.
